Prevage Description
Prevage is a revolutionary advance in anti-aging technology. Prevage is a 0.5% idebenone cream that has been shown to have impressive results on the skin. Clinical tests of idebenone at .5% and 1% show no significant difference in results. The difference between .5% and 1% is only a point of difference for marketing purposes.
The original Prevage MD formula contained a 1% concentration of idebenone -- but it was bright yellow! Many people felt uncomfortable applying this cream to their skin. The new formulation is translucent and is sold in twice the quantity -- so you get twice as much cream, lasting twice as long, for the same great price.
Clinical tests of Prevage have shown a significant decrease in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as an improvement in the texture, color and appearance of skin. A great majority of those tested showed an improvement in sun damage and discoloration from sun exposure.
Prevage Key Ingredients
Idebenone
Idebenone is a synthetic analog of the powerful natural antioxidant Coenzyme Q 10. Idebenone is capable of preventing damage caused by free radicals such as ozone and UV radiation. Tests of Idebenol have also indicated that its antioxidant action helps to accelerate the process of cellular renewal (similar to the action of retinyl palmitate and other retinoids).
Idebenone has been proven to be more effective than the leading antioxidants Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Coenzyme Q10, Kinetin, and alpha lipoic acid.
Prevage Directions
Push the pump down once or twice to dispense a pea-size amount. Thoroughly massage Prevage antioxidant cream into your clean, dry face and neck 2 times daily, or as instructed by your physician.
Using in combination with other products: Prevage antioxidant cream is compatible with other products such as moisturizers, retinoids, or any other products you may be using. Be sure to apply Prevage directly after cleansing your skin and before any other products.
Even though Prevage antioxidant cream protects your skin against environmental stresses, it should not be used as a substitute for sunscreen. You should always use a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 every day.
