Beauty Products, DermBoutique Style!
Here at DermBoutique, we don't just recommend any old beauty products - we recommend the products that we know work and work well, because we use them ourselves! Based on testimonials from our own staff members, we've compiled some recommendations for beauty products - DermBoutique style - for every conceivable beauty problem, from cellulite to dark circles under your eyes.
The most highly recommended beauty products DermBoutique has discovered:
- Theresa M. - "Being an assistant editor, I often burn a lot of midnight oil here at the office. That's why I use Dermalex on the regular to avoid developing dark circles under my eyes. The sleep-deprived raccoon look is something I desperately try to avoid."
- Janet L. - "Even though I work out a lot, I still used to have problems with cellulite until I discovered Cellulite MD. After the first few weeks of using it, I started to draw a crowd at the gym whenever I would do squats! Coincidence? I don't think so."
- Kirsten B. - "I'll admit it: I drink too much coffee. It stains my teeth and it gives me headaches if I don't have my morning cup, but I can't start my day without it! Luckily for me, I don't have to break that habit in the name of beauty just yet. The Elegant Smile whitening system does a great job of keeping the stains at bay so that I don't have to be afraid to smile."
- Kelly T. - "I'm pretty much the in-office expert when it comes to hair care. After I recommended H2Thermal Hair Repair to everyone, it caught on quickly and became the main hair care product for nearly everyone in the office. And for good reason, too - because that stuff works!"
What to avoid: the Beauty Products DermBoutique "Black List"
Beauty products that use harsh chemicals instead of all-natural ingredients. Whether it's the hydroquinone in your skin-brightening cream, formaldehyde in your drug store nail polish, or heavy metals in your sunscreen, the health risks are not worth it! For us, shelling out an extra buck or two for a good formula is more than a fair trade in the long run.
Mineral Oil-Based Moisturizers. There's a little bit of controversy with mineral oil, but many health and beauty consultants believe it "smothers skin, just like plastic wrap" and limits your largest organ's ability to expel toxins from the body. And even if these rumors are false, as some swear they are, why not just use an alternative moisturizer that doesn't come with such awful baggage?
