Hylexin Product Information

Hylexin Product Information

Hylexin Description

Hylexin was the first product specifically formulated to get rid of dark circles under the eyes.

Dark circles under the eyes are caused when tiny capillaries in the delicate skin around your eyes leak tiny amounts of blood. This blood oxidizes and turns dark blue, the same way a bruise does. These dark circles can hang around for days, making you look tired, old and exhausted.

The powerful ingredients in Hylexin address these dark under-eye circles in two ways. First, Hylexin optimizes enzymatic activities that help the under-eye discoloration to fade. Second, Hylexin helps to strengthen the capillaries under the skin, preventing future leakage.

Hylexin takes care of the dark under-eye circles you have now - and helps to prevent future discoloration!

Hylexin Key Ingredients

Chrysin is a powerful bioflavonoid extracted from many plants. Chrysin is a potent antioxidant that possesses vitamin-like effects in the body. Chrysin's antioxidant potential has been shown by its ability to inhibit xanthine oxidase and consequently suppress the formation of uric acid and certain reactive oxygen species. It may also, under some conditions, inhibit lipid peroxidation.

Chrysin has been shown to induce an anti-inflammatory effect, which greatly aids in reducing the appearance in dark under eye circles. This anti-inflammatory action is due at least partially to a strong vasodilation effect.

Palmitoyl Oligopeptide

Palmitoyl oligopeptide is a patented molecule proven to stimulate collagen synthesis in the skin. Also known effective at skin reconstruction and hydrating the deeper layers of the skin. These actions help to both correct existing discoloration and to prevent future dermatologic issues.

Hylexin Directions

Gently apply Hylexin twice daily to clean, dry skin; Using a light, circular motion, until completely absorbed into the orbital eye area. Use sparingly. Hylexin is a concentrated formula. Do not exceed three applications per 24-hour period. Note: As Hylexin begins to work, you may experience a moderate feeling of warmth. this is normal.

Be careful not to get Hylexin in your eyes.

I purchased Hylexin after reading a few positive reviews...

I purchased Hylexin after reading a few positive reviews on it, but after using it, I have to say that I am a bit ambivalent. I have noticed some improvement but nothing remarkable (I still have to use concealers after a few weeks). I will give it another 3 months before I say whether or not the Hylexin really works for dark circles - for me, the jury is out.

Update: Hylexin was a dud for me. I'm going through a serious case of buyer's remorse right now and I'm kicking myself for wasting so much money on a product that barely did anything for me. Obviously I can't ask for a refund because I used almost the whole bottle, but I'll never make this mistake again! I was complaining about it to a girlfriend of mine and she told me I should try the stuff she uses (RevitaLume) instead. And it's less expensive, which is great!

I used Hylexin expecting dramatic results...

I started using Hylexin expecting dramatic results and six weeks later I still wasn't noticing the improvements I really wanted to see. Then I went back to one of the online reviews sites I found Hylexin on and submitted questions to other users who had tried this product on their undereye dark circles. Turns out, the people who got the best results "followed the directions" and applied the stuff three times a day! THREE times! Who has time for that?

I was really hoping this would work because I couldn't really afford the hundred dollars it cost to get the stuff, but I was desperate to see an improvement in my dark under eye circles and nothing else has worked so far. My eyes are less puffy, but not $100 bucks worth. I'm so sad I invested so much money in this. I'm not giving up hope though. I'm thinking about trying some of the other products on this site next - specifically, RevitaLume. I'll let you know how that goes.

You would think that if you were going to pay $100 dollars for Hylexin

You would think that if you were going to pay $100 dollars for a tiny tube of cream that at least it would smell good. I will admit however, that when I finally received the order, that the product did appear to work, but the smell of the formula may not be worth it in my opinion. It smelled cheap and chemical-y and I was hoping against hope that I would go nose-blind to it, but I never did. All and all, it is okay, but I probably will keep looking for another product.

In the meantime, I did manage to return my unused portion of the product for a refund. I just barely squeaked in my return within the money back guarantee window, and customer service was really nice about it. I just couldn't take that smell any longer!

I think Hylexin works just fine

I think the product works just fine, but as other reviewers have recounted, it is very expensive. I have tried products that didn't work and Hylexin has caused some fading of the dark circles beneath my eyes. This makes me a bit hesitant to switch brands, especially since I've been using RevitaLume for a while now and it works really, really well (for about $20 cheaper on average). If I find something better I may switch completely, but until then I think I'll just stick with my more affordable option.
